Dining with good company is always enjoyable but every now and then, a little “me time” is necessary. However, that doesn’t mean having to settle for delivery or being restrained to the contents of the fridge. Chicago restaurants are embracing solo diners more and more and making the experience a pleasurable one. Best of all, there’s no arguing over what to order nor is sharing required. While the vibrant dishes are meant to be shared, there’s certainly no shame in single-handedly finishing a whole plate of cacio e pepe (because there’s no such thing as too many carbs).
